Vespa mandarinia

The species Vespa mandarinia is a very large-sized wasp with a Body length 27 - 45 mm; unbelievable, the queens reach 5.5 cms in length!

The article goes on to to explain that this particular critter is found in various parts of Asia. Thank goodness! Bugs, especially those with stingers, are really my thing. Take a look at that picture! I'd freak out if those things lived near me.
